2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically records so-called server log files, including in particular:

• IP address of the requesting device
• Date and time of access
• Name and URL of the retrieved file
• Amount of data transferred
• Browser type and operating system

These data are collected solely to ensure smooth operation and to improve the website, and are not merged with other data sources. Log files are stored by Cloudflare for a maximum of 7 days and then automatically deleted. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website).

3. Local data storage (localStorage)

Your inputs (answers in the calculator) are stored exclusively locally in your browser (localStorage). No data are transmitted to our servers or third parties. You can delete these data at any time via the "Reset" function in the calculator or through your browser settings.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (technically necessary storage to improve the user experience). No cookies are set.

4. Analytics: Plausible Analytics

This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-friendly web analytics service. The provider is Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403 Tartu, Estonia (EU).

Plausible Analytics sets no cookies and collects no personal data. In particular, IP addresses are neither stored nor passed on – they are used solely for temporary geolocation at the country level and are immediately discarded. There is no cross-site tracking and no profiling.

Only aggregated, anonymous usage data are collected, such as:

• Pages visited and time spent
• Country of origin (at country level)
• Browser type and operating system
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
• Referring website (referrer)

As Plausible Analytics sets no cookies and stores no personal data, neither consent under the TTDSG nor under the GDPR is required. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the anonymous analysis of website usage to improve the service).
